The Maclaren Twin Techno Stroller is one of the most affordable double strollers on the market and it is quickly apparent that it is also high quality as well.
What is quickly apparent in this stroller is that it is very easy to maneuver; this is a common problem in many others especially in tandem strollers, but Maclaren have overcome this by not making the frame too heavy and the center wheels help to distribute weight evenly meaning that one side does not get bogged down.
The stroller turns easily and in most cases will fit throught doors you will come across; interior doors can however pose a problem but as you are inside you may have folded it up already.
It isnt the lightest stroller available (at 27lbs) but it is still decent for a double stroller nonetheless.
Due to the smaller wheels this stroller has, it doesnt handle some terrains all that well. Short-cut grass isnt a problem, but taking it off road over gravel or harsher terrain will make it difficult to move around.
The seats have 4 reclining positions from reclining to straight up meaning that it is good for nap times while you are out. The seats recline individually so they dont have to be in the same position. The leg rests are also adjustable so you can alter it as your children grow.
Other features include a water resistant hood and rain cover, great coloring, and an extendable canopies for taller children.
This completely affordable package does come at a price though; the baskets dont hold much room, so using this for shopping can be an issue. Due to its size, it folds down remarkably well but still might be too big for anyone with smaller vehicles (approx 44″). The washable machine covers are a great idea, but can also be a bit tricky to get them off.
With those points aside, it is hard to criticise the stroller as it isnt trying to be a replacement for your lightweight stroller; if weight is an issue then this isnt the product for you. If however, you are after a sturdy, durable, easy to push double stroller that is good value for money then this is definitily worth considering.
It is designed with similar concepts and the ultimate aim is to be the most light weight swivel wheeled stroller on the market, and once again they have done a great job of delivering this.
It is also very easy to fold. The seats are a little more upright from the 2010 model however but comfort has not been compromised. The seats move all the way back to a lying down position in case your little one needs a nap.
Turning the stroller also couldnt be easier and it is practically zero-turn thanks to the swivel wheels. This means that they do the turning for you, rather than requiring you to try and find the right angle. This is refreshing to see as some double strollers can be a bit clunky and awkward to move around, especially with 2 children on board.
The wheels are the front are both double and can be locked to stop them swivveling if you need them too, which is good for walking at faster paces or jogging. It is also worth mentioning that the stroller will fold down quite small and if you need to get it smaller still, the wheels can be taken off quickly and easily.
The only downpoint to the Baby Jogger 2011 City Mini Double Stroller is the access space you are given to the storage basket which resides under the seats. The straps and seat bar tends to block some access to the basket. This is a shame because the basket otherwise provides a good amount of storage space but being hard to get to, it can be tricky to use it fully. You can get access to it a bit easier by undoing the safety snaps on the seats as you can then move them out of the way, but you can only really do this before or after it is occupied by your toddlers.
Although this is a shame, you can still make some use of the storage area and its hard to let this ruin what is otherwise a highly recommended lightweight and double stroller.

The Safety 1st Two Way Tandem Stroller is a well made, sturdy stroller that lets you flip the front seat to face backwards.
This lets you have your children facing each other, or in the same direction and this is also helped as the rear seat is elavated so the view isnt obscured.
Of course, the sturdiness does mean that this is quite heavy at nearly 50lbs compared to some others, so this may not be for you if you need something more lightweight. However, with that said, it is a remarkably smooth stroller to push around and it is very easy to steer which is quite a surprise.
There is plenty of storage space underneath and you should be able to get most supplies you need there, although there are no side pouches.
This is a great stroller for the price and you will be hard pushed to beat it for that alone; its only downside really is the weight, but this is more than made up for by its smooth stearing and face-to-face seating.
